Indonesia's President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has released his third album of romantic pop songs.
Ku Yakin Sampai Di Sana [I'm Certain I'll Get There] features some of Indonesia's most popular singers. The president said he wanted to convey his "inner feelings" through his music and inspire Indonesians.
But Mr Yudhoyono is currently battling a corruption scandal and falling popularity, and his critics say he should focus on running the country.
In a message on the album cover, Mr Yudhoyono said that he liked to use his free time in between his "struggle to serve the country" to "express [his] feelings in the form of arts".
He said his music was "inspired by a belief that no-one can change the destiny of a nation but the children of the nation itself".
"It is through these works of arts I hope to convey my inner feelings to the wider communities, to the children of Indonesia," he said.
The Jakarta Post said that among the album's nine songs were tracks called Go Forth My Country, For You Sweet Child and Longing My Love, Save Our Planet.
Although it's difficult I must go through it/ I chose the path I believe in/ Don't force things that are impossible/ My life must be honest and right Lyric from I'm Certain I'll Get There |
One track - My Soul was Enlightened that Night - was reportedly written during a presidential visit to Peru.
Mr Mallarangeng said Mr Yudhoyono, who was re-elected in July last year, has been writing songs since high school and that the album proceeds would go to charity.
The BBC's Karishma Vaswani in Jakarta says the album comes as Mr Yudhoyono is embroiled in a corruption scandal over the bailout of an Indonesia bank in 2008.
Allegations have been made that some of the money used for the bailout was channelled into Mr Yudhoyono's election campaign - charges the president vehemently denies.
Mr Yudhoyono's first album, Rinduku Padamu [My Longing for You] was released in 2007, followed by Evolusi [Evolution] in 2009.
The former general has always been a keen music enthusiast, says our correspondent, meaning this third album is unlikely to be his last.
